Only three nations have never let themselves be ruled by foreigners: China, Afghanistan, and Abyssinia. These are the only three nations I admire.

Hi: I stumbled upon this blog when I was searching for the question "countries never ruled by foreigner". I was actually looking for validating the answer for this question which I had read in "The white Tiger". Can you tell me the source for your answer.
eithopia/abyssinia, was an italian colony from 1935/36 till end of WW2,
afghanistan was overrun by 1219 by the mongols, then came the british, then soviets and finally now the americans, although they were not able to establish firm rule over afghanistan, they could be called as rulers who were overthrown by civil-rebellion.
china, on the otherhand was never wholly captured by any other country, but many parts were ruled by foreigners...like japanese and mongols.
according to what i know, nepal has never been ruled by foreigners...atleast in the last 3000years.

As per my understanding this statement was written in "The white Tiger" because he believed that
"Geography is truly history".
